    Hamelin Trust is an expanding voluntary sector organization based in South Essex, which provides care and support to children and adults with learning/ multiple disabilities in both residential (including respite) and community settings. We have facilities at The Bungalow and The Exchange (Wickford), Gowlands (Rochford) and Hamelin House in Billericay (children).

    Motivated and caring individuals are required to join our team of support workers. Applicants will ideally have some previous experience of working in a care environment although this is not essential.

    Duties range from assisting service users to engage in meaningful activities to providing personal care to those with high support needs. You will also on occasion be expected to deal with challenging behavior.

    In return for your commitment to us and our service users we will offer you a comprehensive training package and access to NVQ qualifications.

    Deputy Manager/Health Lead
    We require a qualified nurse, with extensive experience of learning disabilities to support the Manager at Gowlands in the day to day running of the service. In addition to managerial duties the post holder will be required act as Health Lead for the Trust advising on medication and other health related procedures. A keen interest in training is therefore essential.

    Salary: NJC Spine Point 25 -34 £20,736 p.a. -£27, 594 p.a. (dependent upon skills & experience) plus enhancements for unsocial hours and weekend working.
